So today we decided was a good day to do some touristy things. This city is amazing anyway, but it is even better knowing that there is so much to see. If im honest, the main reason I wanted to visit Washington was just to see the White House. Very different to how it looks on TV if I’m honest, but we were not able to get as close as we would have liked. Also, I am not sure why, but there was extra amounts of security the day we visited. Also could not leave without seeing the memorial of Abraham Lincoln, wandering around the Washington District of Columbia, and having a Selfie with the Washington Monument. I have to be honest, I have never been one for history, as I was born in top a country of which there is abundance of, but I have to say, I do love seeing these amazing parts of the world They are things you only see on television, and to see them in real life is simply breathtaking. The United States of America is one amazing place with so much to see. You really forget house big it really is. Being from the UK, you can drive from the bottom in England all the way to the Top in Scotland in less than 10 hours, yet in the US, this is simply not the case. You can drive for over a week just up Route 66. P.S., this is also on my list of things to do. A road trip with the lads haha.
